Product Overview

The Switches Endurance Tester is designed and manufactured according to the standard requirements of IEC 61058-1 clause 17, IEC 61058-1-1 clause 17.4, and IEC 61058-1-2 clause 17.4.

Test Scope & Application

For switching and control of household and similar electrical appliances and other equipment. Rated voltage ≤ 480 V, rated current ≤ 63 A, including mechanical and electronic switches.

Test Purpose

To perform operating cycle tests at ultra‑slow, slow, high, and accelerated speeds in accordance with Clause 17.4, with load make‑and‑break, to verify mechanical, electrical, and thermal stresses under normal use, and to assess excessive wear or other detrimental effects after exposure to mechanical damage, electrical fatigue, and thermal stress.

Test Principle
  • Linear actuation: Servo‑motor driven mechanism performs repeated linear pressing on specimens in a dedicated temperature‑humidity chamber, with load make‑and‑break. Timing, speed, stroke, and rate are preset via touchscreen.
  • Rotary actuation: Servo‑motor driven mechanism performs reciprocating rotation on specimens in the temperature‑humidity chamber, with load make‑and‑break. Timing, speed, angle, positions, and rate are preset via touchscreen.
Structure & Features

Consists of control cabinet, temperature‑humidity chamber, actuating mechanism, and specimen fixtures. Actuation control cabinet is external; servo motors are mounted on openings on the right/left walls of the chamber. The chamber has independent temperature control.

The actuating mechanism connects to servos via transmission shafts; fixtures are mounted inside the chamber. 7‑inch color touchscreen HMI, PLC intelligent control. Three‑axis adjustable fixtures for push‑button, rocker, and ship‑switch testing.
