The Meltblown Cloth Filtration Efficiency Test Equipment is a precision aerosol testing system designed to characterize the particle filtration performance of meltblown nonwoven materials, filter media and other air filtration products under controlled laboratory conditions.
The system uses an aerosol generation module to produce a stable test aerosol and passes the aerosol through the test specimen under a controlled airflow. Upstream and downstream particle concentrations are measured to evaluate the filtration performance of the material.
Both sodium chloride (NaCl) aerosol and oil-based aerosols can be supported, making the system suitable for different filter-media evaluation requirements. Optional aerosol media include DOP, DEHS, paraffin oil and corn oil.
A precision airflow-control system, aerosol generator, photometer and integrated vacuum pump work together to provide a stable testing environment. Temperature and humidity can also be monitored during testing to improve test repeatability.
The equipment features a touchscreen HMI, convenient specimen clamping, automated test operation and data recording, while optional PC software can be used for expanded data management and analysis.
This aerosol filtration efficiency tester is suitable for laboratory evaluation and quality-control testing of filter materials where particle filtration performance needs to be measured under controlled airflow and aerosol conditions.
It can be used in filter-material manufacturers, R&D laboratories, third-party testing laboratories, universities and industrial quality-control departments.

The equipment generates a controlled aerosol and introduces it into the test airflow. The test specimen is mounted in the dedicated fixture, allowing the aerosol to pass through the specified test area.
The system monitors the aerosol concentration and airflow conditions while measuring the particle concentration associated with the filtration process.
The basic testing process can be summarized as:
Aerosol Generation → Airflow Stabilization → Sample Loading → Aerosol Penetration → Particle Concentration Measurement → Filtration Performance Evaluation
The controlled aerosol generation and precision flow regulation help provide consistent test conditions for comparative evaluation of different filter materials.
