Product Overview

The SN1133 Kettle Handle Strength Test Apparatus is dual‑station lab testing equipment built to verify mechanical durability of electric kettle handles and their fastening assemblies. It executes horizontal and vertical cyclic swing tests as specified in IEC 60335‑2‑15:2024 clause 21.101, figure 109 & 110, preventing safety risks caused by unexpected handle fracture during end‑user daily operation. Manufactured in Guangzhou China, this compliance tester serves household appliance factories, third‑party testing laboratories and quality inspection institutes for pre‑market product validation.

Purpose & Principle

Purpose:SN1133 Kettle Handle Strength Test Apparatus is designed for kettle sample testing in compliance with IEC 60335‑2‑15:2024 clause 21.101, figure 109 and 110. It evaluates the mechanical strength of kettle handles and their fastening assemblies, verifying that handles will not break unexpectedly during normal operation so as to avoid potential safety hazards for end‑users.
Test Principle:Controlled by PLC system and touch‑screen interface, servo‑motor drives swing arm mechanism to perform cyclic horizontal and vertical swing endurance tests. The kettle sample is loaded with steel balls of 1.2 times rated capacity. A 5 mm rubber pad with Shore hardness 50±10 is fitted between fixture and kettle handle.

  1. Horizontal Swing Test: The kettle swings within 90° range for 2500 cycles at 10 cycles per minute. One full cycle runs from 0° to 90° and returns to 0°, with uniform acceleration and deceleration controlled by servo motor.
