Product Overview
IEC60335-2-17 Electric Blanket Bending Test Machine is designed for testing the bending mechanical strength of electric heating pads to verify their safety during normal use (125mm/s).
Standards & Compliance
IEC60335-2-17:2019 "Household and similar electrical appliances-Safety-Part2-17:Particular requirements for blankets, pads, clothing and similar flexible heating appliances".

Electric heating pads and other similar flexible heating appliances for heating beds or the human body
Test Principle
The equipment is motor-driven and automatically stops after the required number of tests. During testing, one end of the heating pad is fixed to the drive unit, which moves the heating pad horizontally back and forth at 125 mm/s. The heating pad is placed on a roller with a diameter of Φ25 mm. A 0.5 kg weight or a load of 3 g/mm is hung at the end, and the test is repeated for 2000 cycles. Then, the sample is rotated 90° and clamped, and another 2000 cycles are performed.
