SN1401 is a washing machine door and lid interlocking device durability test equipment designed for IEC 60335-2-7:2016 clause 18.101. It is used to test the reliability of the interlocking device of washing machine doors or lids, and to verify the opening or closing force when the interlock is actuated.
This equipment is suitable for electric tumble dryers, front-loading washing machines, and top-loading pulsator washing machines. It can also assist other repeated opening and closing tests for washing machine doors or lids during product development, quality control, and safety certification.
The on/off actions of the interlocking device are controlled by a programmed control system. The manipulators are driven by servo motors to repeatedly open and close the door or lid at a preset speed.
For door testing, the manipulator uses a vacuum suction cup to attach to the washing machine door. For lid testing, the fixture clamps the lid. A force sensor is mounted on the manipulator and forms a closed-loop control system with the servo motor, allowing accurate control of the opening or closing force value.

| Equipment weight | Approx. 280kg |
| Safety protection | Leakage protection, overload protection, short circuit protection, motor overload and motor short circuit protection |
The equipment consists of an electrical control cabinet, load voltage regulating device, rack, and manipulator system. There are two independent test stations: one station for a drum washing machine with a front door, and one station for a pulsator washing machine with a top lid. The two workstations can conduct tests independently.
Sinuo provides customized household appliance testing equipment for manufacturers, laboratories, and certification institutions. For washing machine safety testing, we can help match the test system to the customer's product structure, applicable standard, sample size, interlock type, and test cycle requirements.
If your washing machine door or lid structure is different from the standard configuration, our engineering team can review your sample drawing or test requirement and recommend a suitable fixture or auxiliary mechanism.
