Product information:
This water-sulphur dioxide test chamber is designed and manufactured according to ISO 3231, and it is required by IEC 62368-1:2018 clause Y3.2, Y.3.3, etc.
It is suitable for testing the corrosion resistance ability of materials and their protective layers, as well as the process quality comparison of similar protective layers, and can also assess the corrosion resistance of certain products.

Main features:
The equipment is making use of the sulfur dioxide corrosion gas, the material or product is accelerated to be corroded at a certain temperature and relative humidity, and the damage degree of the material or product is reproduced in a certain time range. The equipment can be used to test the ability of the material and its protective layer to resist sulfur dioxide gas corrosion, as well as the comparison of the process quality of the similar protective layer, or to assess the ability of some products to resist sulfur dioxide gas corrosion.
The equipment can reach the specified temperature and humidity points in the test workspace and keep constant. A certain concentration of sulfur dioxide gas is introduced into the chamber with a specified volume, so that the corrosion test of the material or product is carried out under the condition of constant concentration, temperature and relative humidity. The material of this chamber is corrosion-resistant PP sheets, which will not react with sulfur dioxide gas, will not absorb sulfur dioxide gas and will not affect the test results. The internal and external pressure of this test chamber are balanced when it’s working.
