The EV Charging Plug Mechanical Lock Endurance Test Equipment is a programmable testing system developed for evaluating the mechanical, electrical and operational durability of EV charging interfaces, plugs, sockets and couplers.
Designed around the relevant requirements of IEC 62196-3:2022 and IEC 62196-1:2022, the system simulates repeated real-world operation of electric vehicle charging connectors, including plugging, unplugging, mechanical locking and electrical loading.
A servo motor drives the charging connector through controlled insertion and withdrawal movements, while the PLC-based control system allows the operator to preset test cycles, withdrawal rate, stroke, movement speed, conduction time and test parameters.
This makes the SNQC1005A suitable for EV charging connector manufacturers, EVSE laboratories, certification organizations, R&D departments and quality-control laboratories.

The 7-inch color touchscreen provides a centralized interface for setting and monitoring the test. Operators can configure:
The PLC controller automatically executes the programmed sequence, reducing manual intervention during long-duration endurance testing.
The equipment can automatically detect abnormal electrical interruption when the external load is connected.
During the test, the system can:
Monitor → Detect interruption → Trigger alarm → Record current cycle → Continue/stop according to programmed logic
This function is particularly useful for long-duration EV connector endurance testing, where manual monitoring of every cycle would be impractical.
The universal fixture can be configured for different charging interface designs.
| Application | Test Capability |
|---|---|
| AC Charging Plug | Insertion/withdrawal endurance |
| DC Charging Gun | Mechanical endurance |
| EV Connector | Normal operation testing |
| Charging Coupler | Repeated mating cycles |
