The Halogen Lamp Load Cabinet is designed and manufactured according to the standard requirements of IEC 60884-2-5, IEC 60950, IEC 60669-1, IEC 60598-1 and etc.
It is a special equipment suitable for the on-off capacity and normal operation life test of electrical accessories on fixed electrical installations for household and similar purposes. The rated voltage of the tested accessories is not more than 250V and the rated current is not more than 16A. The purpose is to assess whether the accessories can withstand the current surge and electrical fatigue damage in normal use, and whether there is contact adhesion or long-term disconnection, and whether they have excessive wear and other harmful consequences.

The control power cord is inserted into a single-phase AC220V±10%/50Hz socket with a ground wire, and the other group is connected to a single-phase high-current (63A) output electrical box with a short-circuit switch for powering on the tested product.
2. There are two sets of terminals on the left side of the lower part of the rear panel of the load box, which are connected to the product under test. From left to right are the voltage output zero line and phase line, and the load input zero line and phase line.
3. Connect the load box and the mechanical life testing machine with wires according to the standard requirements, and also connect the signal communication cable (this is an option).
4. After the above lines are connected, manually make the accessory under test power on, turn on the "meter power" switch, each meter has a digital display, and then turn on the "load power" switch. According to the technical requirements of the sample, observe the "output voltage" meter, and slowly turn the "output voltage adjustment" knob clockwise to make the voltage output display the test voltage value.
5. Preset the "counter", and press the "reset" button on it to clear the "counter". (Note: Presetting the counter at runtime has no effect)
6. Calculate the number of lights when the load is at the rated current value according to the standard requirements, and close the corresponding number of lights switch, which can be used in combination with single gear or multiple gears.
7. Press the "Start" button and the green indicator light is on. According to the technical requirements of the sample, observe the "output current" meter to see if it meets the requirements. If the difference is too large, adjust the switch of the number of lights. If there is a little error, you can Slowly turn the "Output Voltage Adjustment" knob to make the voltage output meet the current requirement within the specified error range.
8. The load current is intermittently switched on and off during the test. Due to the inherent characteristics of the Halogen filament lamp (the inrush current can only occur when the filament is cold), the Halogen filament lamp must have sufficient cooling time after each power-on (a lot of 10 seconds), so the load cabinet built-in 3 groups of Halogen filament lamp loads are energized in turn and there are indicator lights to ensure that the tested sample has a surge current every time it is energized.
9. Start the mechanical life machine (optional), so that the tested accessories are continuously powered on/off. At this time, the counter on the load box will accumulate the number of times and switch the lamp group according to the power-on condition.
10. If there is an abnormal situation during the test, press the "Stop" button to cut off the output current. If necessary, disconnect the "load power" and "instrument power" switches, and use them after the technicians check and remove the fault.
11. When the counter reaches the preset number of tests, it will automatically cut off the power supply, and there will be an alarm sound, indicating that the test is completed. Press the reset button on the counter to eliminate the alarm, and at the same time, turn off the "load power supply", and press the voltage adjustment knob. Adjust to zero after turning counterclockwise.
12. When the tested product has contact adhesion (long-on state) or failure (long-off state) and the time is longer than the preset protection time, the power supply will be automatically cut off and an alarm will sound, indicating that the product is unqualified, press "Stop" The button can cancel the alarm, and at the same time turn off the "load power", and at the same time, adjust the voltage adjustment knob counterclockwise to zero.
13. Shut down the mechanical life machine and take out the tested accessories for manual judgment.
