IEC 60898-1 Clause 9.7 12.5kV Impulse Voltage Generator For MCB Test
Standards & Clauses:
The Impulse Test Generator conforms to the standard requirements of IEC 61009-1:2012, IEC 60898-1:2015 clause 9.7, IEC60335-1 clause 14, etc.The Impulse Test Generator conforms to the standard requirements of IEC 61009-1:2012, IEC 60898-1:2015 clause 9.7, IEC60335-1 clause 14, etc.The Impulse Test Generator conforms to the standard requirements of IEC 61009-1:2012, IEC 60898-1:2015 clause 9.7, IEC60335-1 clause 14, etc.
Samples and Restrictions:
It is used to verify that the Household and similar appliances, information technology equipment, audio-visual electronic equipment.
The impulse voltage tester is a standard lightning wave test device with a waveform of 1.2/50µs (10/700µs). The wave front time of the instrument is 1.2µs (10µs), and the back wave time is 50µs (700µs). The impulse voltage tester is a destructive test. In the test, if the test object cannot withstand the applied voltage, breakdown will occur. When the test product breaks down, sparks and discharge sounds will be generated, and the peak voltage of the instrument will drop significantly (close to zero) compared with the no-load condition. When the same voltage is applied to test again in the future, the above phenomenon will appear.
Technical Parameters:
Open Circuit Output Voltage | 12.5kV (Max) ±5% |
Impulse voltage wave |
Impulse Wavefront Time: 1.2 µs ± 30 %; Half Value After Wave Time: 50 µs ± 20 % Please note that the waveform should be checked on an external oscilloscope |
Output polarity | Positive, negative, positive and negative cycles |
Instrument internal resistance | 2Ω±10%, 12Ω±10%, 500Ω±10% |
Trigger method | Automatic or manual, single trigger |
Number Of Test | 1-9999 times |
Surge Interval Time | 3-999s (where 3s is the inherent charging time of the device) |
Mainly for samples | 2Ω is for the anti-interference test of indoor interconnection ports, 12Ω is for power line ports, and 500Ω is for material or component testing, mainly referring to coils |
