The SN1901 Toilet-Seat Cover Mechanical Strength Test Equipment is purpose-built to satisfy IEC 60335-2-84:2019 — Household and similar electrical appliances — Safety — Part 2-84: Particular requirements for toilet appliances. This tester fulfills the full set of mandatory mechanical strength assessments under Clause 21 Mechanical Strength, including clauses 21.101, 21.102, and 21.103. It verifies heated spray seats, toilet seat covers, and enclosures against static load, lateral force, and repeated cyclic mechanical stresses encountered in daily household use.
According to IEC 60335-2-84 requirements, the standard defines four core mechanical strength tests:
All four required IEC 60335-2-84 mechanical tests can be carried out together on this single machine. Thanks to its 3 independent test station design, you can run these four different test items at the same time. You no longer need separate test benches for static loading, lateral force, and cyclic fatigue testing.
Each station can be set with independent force, holding time, and cycle parameters. One station may perform static load while another runs a lateral force test and the third executes 20,000-cycle repeated compression. This all-in-one capability fully complies with every clause requirement in IEC 60335-2-84 Clause 21.
The machine adopts a cylinder driving structure + PLC & touch-screen intelligent control, equipped with three independent test stations. A high-precision force sensor captures real-time load values. Users can configure test force magnitude, force holding duration, loading angle, and cyclic test counts. A standard-compliant rubber-steel pressing disc is pre-fitted for evenly distributed force application as per standard specification. All test parameters and test logs can be saved and exported for certification laboratory reports.
Most universal compression testers available on the market can only perform simple single-point pressure tests. They lack the standard-specified rubber-steel pressing disc and are limited to just one station. Laboratories usually need to purchase multiple separate machines to complete IEC 60335-2-84's four mandatory mechanical strength tests. This brings higher capital investment, larger floor space occupation, and extra calibration and maintenance workload.
Ideal for smart toilet manufacturers, bidet seat R&D departments, ISO 17025 accredited third-party appliance testing laboratories, and quality inspection departments. Carry out the full set of IEC 60335-2-84 mechanical strength assessments — including static load, lateral force, and cyclic repeated stress — for heated toilet seats, spray bidet seats, toilet-seat covers, automatic seat-covering assemblies, and smart toilet enclosure components, to verify mechanical-strength performance and achieve IEC 60335-2-84 safety compliance.
