IEC60227-1 450/750V Polyvinyl Chloride Insulated Cables Flexing Test Machine
Product Overview

This specialized testing machine is designed for conducting bending mechanical strength tests on finished flexible cables according to international standards.

  • IEC60227-1: clause 6.6.3.2 (IEC 63294:2021, clause 6.6)
  • IEC60227-2: clause 3.1 and figure 1
  • IEC60245-1-2008 clause 5.6.3.1
  • IEC60245-2-1998 clause 3.1 and figure 1, clause 3.5 and figure 6
Specimen Compatibility

Suitable for finished flexible cables including TUV, VDE, UL and other highly flexible cables. Not applicable to cables with more than two concentric layers whose nominal conductor cross-section exceeds 18 cores.

Test Principle

A 5m long sample moves back and forth within a 1m stroke through a pair of pulleys to achieve the bending test of wires and cables. By switching the two- and three-wheel clamps and adjusting the running speed, both two-wheel and three-wheel bending tests can be performed.
