This test apparatus conforms to IEC60068-2-75:2014, IEC60598-1:2017, EC62262:2002, and other relevant standards. It is designed to evaluate the impact resistance of household and similar electrical/electronic products and their components, including plugs, sockets, wall-mounted junction boxes, cable glands, covers, switches, and lighting fixtures. It assesses both the safety performance and structural durability of these products.
The striking element is freely released from a predetermined height along a 1-meter pendulum tube. At the lowest point of its swing, it impacts the specimen vertically, converting gravitational potential energy into kinetic energy to perform the impact test.
