IEC60529 IPX3~IPX6 Spray Nozzle and Hose Nozzle Test Chamber 512L

The SN4416-512L IPX3 to IPX6 spray and hose nozzle test chamber is an integrated waterproof ingress protection testing system built strictly to IEC 60529:1989 +A1:1999 +A2:2013 (Degrees of protection provided by enclosures, IP Code). It supports IPX3 and IPX4 spray/splash tests as well as IPX5 and IPX6 high-pressure water jet tests, as defined in Figure 5 and Figure 6 of the standard.

Natural water exposure — including rain, splashes and high-speed water jets — brings significant risks to electrical and electronic products: short circuit, corrosion, mildew, deformation and structural failure. This chamber accurately reproduces these real-world water exposure conditions, enabling manufacturers and third-party laboratories to verify product waterproof performance, optimize enclosure design and perform reliable factory release inspection.

Widely adopted for outdoor lighting, household appliances, automotive components, electrical cabinets, control components and other electrical and electronic assemblies, it combines the IPX3/IPX4 spray nozzle and the IPX5/IPX6 hose jet nozzle into a single test unit for flexible, efficient IP rating validation.

• 4-in-1 IP waterproof test in one chamber: Run IPX3, IPX4, IPX5 and IPX6 tests without switching between multiple machines. Separate calibrated nozzles follow IEC 60529 Figure 5 (IPX3/4) and Figure 6 (IPX5/6).
• Anti-corrosion SUS304 stainless steel internal structure: Chamber interior and rotary turntable are SUS304 stainless steel, with an outer shell of baked-paint steel plate for long service life against water and humidity corrosion.
• Clear tempered glass observation window with internal LED light: Real-time visual monitoring of samples during spray and jet testing.
• Programmable turntable with stepper motor: Adjustable rotation speed of 1–5 rpm, supporting single-direction rotation or forward/reverse alternate rotation. Reverse rotation avoids cable tangling during powered sample testing.
• PLC + 7-inch touchscreen control system: Easy setting of test duration (0–999 min). Core electrical components use imported Omron parts for stable, reliable operation.
• Precision flow and pressure regulation: Manual flow adjustment via panel rotameter, with optional electronic flowmeter. Stable water pressure control meets standard flow tolerance requirements.
• Complete safety protection: Built-in leakage protection, water shortage protection and short-circuit protection for stable laboratory operation.
• Precision machined standard nozzles: Brass 121-hole spray nozzle for IPX3/4; 6.3 mm (IPX5) and 12.5 mm (IPX6) jet nozzles for high-flow water jet testing.
