Product Information:

 

Standard: according to IEC60884-1:2006 clause 12.2.5, clause 12.3.10 and figure 11, IEC60669-1:2007 clause 12.2.5, clause 12.3.10 and figure 10, IEC60998-2-2:2002 clause 10.105 and figure 101, UL486A-B:2009 clause 9.3.2.1, clause 9.3.2.3, clause 9.3.2.4 and table 26 and figure 6.

Samples and restrictions: Screw-type terminals, thread less terminals and connectors

Application: Check whether screw-type terminals and screw less terminals can withstand the mechanical stresses that occur during normal use. It is mainly used to judge whether the design and structure of thread clamping terminal blocks meet the requirements of not excessively damaging the wire when clamping the wire.

Test principle: It adopts guide rail screw structure. The number of tests can be preset before use. When the set value is reached, the machine will automatically stop and sound an alarm signal.

Usage environment: Power supply: AC220V±10%/50-60Hz, working temperature 5-35℃, humidity 30%-90%;

 

 

Principle:

 

The test shall be carried out on six samples: three with the smallest conductor cross-sectional area and three with the largest conductor cross-sectional area.
The length of the test conductor shall be 75 mm longer than the height H specified in Table 3.
Clamping screws, if any, are tightened with the torque according to Table 17. Otherwise, the terminals are connected according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Each conductor is subjected to the following test.
The end of the conductor is passed through an appropriate-sized bushing in a platen, positioned at a height H below the accessory, as given in Table 3. The bushing is positioned in a horizontal plane, such that its centre line describes a circle of 75 mm diameter, concentric with the centre of the clamping unit in the horizontal plane. The platen is then rotated at a rate of (10 t 2) r/min.
The distance between the mouth of the clamping unit and the upper surface of the bushing shall be within 15 mm of the height in Table 3. The bushing may be lubricated to prevent binding twisting or rotation of the insulated conductor, A mass, as specified in Table 3, is suspended from the end of the conductor. The duration of the test is 15 min.
During the test, the conductor shall neither slip out of the clamping unit nor break near the clamping unit.
Terminals shall not, during this test, damage the conductor in such a way as to render it unfit for further use.
