Product Information For Vicat Softening Temperature Of Determination Thermal Testing Equipment:

 

The vicat softening temperature determination tester conforms to ISO 306-2013 clause 5.2 figure 1, ISO 2507, ISO 75, ASTMD 1525, ASTMD 648, etc.

It is mainly used for the determination of thermal deformation temperature and Vicat softening point temperature of non-metallic materials such as plastics, hard rubber, nylon, electrical insulating materials, long fiber reinforced composite materials, high-strength thermosetting extrusion materials, etc. Which is widely used in colleges and universities, scientific research units and product quality supervision and inspection units.

The instrument adopts PLC (programmable controller), touch screen display and operation, and the modular design temperature control unit, which make the performance of the instrument more stable and the operation easier and more convenient.

During the operation, operator only inputs the specimen size, the standard deflection and required weight of the test will be automatically calculated out, avoiding human calculation errors.

The test process can be completed by following the displayed prompts, with high degree of automation, low failure rate, and simple maintenance. It is an advanced instrument used for the determination of thermal deformation and vicat softening point temperature of non-metallic materials.

Safety Notices For Vicat Softening Temperature Of Determination Thermal Testing Equipment:
 

1 Must be heated in the presence of heating medium, otherwise the heating tube will burst due to overheating by dry burning.

2 The test specimen should be taken out if it falls into the fuel tank. The stirring motor must be turned off when taking specimens out.

3. Before using cooling water (or air) to cool down, the water (or air) pipe must be fixed to prevent burns. After cooling down, be sure to drain the water in the cooling pipe or blow it out with high-pressure air.

4. Regularly check the liquid level position of the heating medium to ensure that the oil level reaches the specified position.

5 The instrument limits the heating up to 300°C. It should be noted that the flash point temperature of the oil used should be greater than 300°C and the viscosity of the methyl silicone oil is less than 500 centistokes.

6 When loading and unloading weights, move away the magnetic core of the displacement sensor to avoid damage to the magnetic core.
