IEC 60884 Clause 24.11 3mm Cylindrical Test Tod
Product Overview:
The 3mm test rod conforms to the IEC 60884-1:2013 clause 24.11 requirement.
A cylindrical steel rod, having a diameter of 3 mm and a hemispherical end with a radius of 1,5 mm, is pushed perpendicular to the supporting mounting surface, in the most unfavourable position, for 10 s against the barrier, the force being equal to 1,5 times the maximum plug withdrawal force.
Probe Dimension:
Probe Length (mm) | 100 |
Probe Diameter (mm) | Ф3 |
Probe Hemispherical End | Radius 1.5mm |
Probe Length (mm) | 100 |
Probe Material | Stainless Steel |
Handle Material | Nylon |
Handle Length (mm) | 100 |
Please refer to the relevant standards.
Take IEC 60884:2013 clause 24.11 as an example:
A cylindrical steel rod, having a diameter of 3mm and a hemispherical end with a radius of 1.5mm, is pushed perpenducular to the supporting mounting surface, in the most unfavourable position, for 10 s against the barrier, the force being equal to 1.5 times the maximum plug withdrawal force (as specified in 22.2, table 16).
The test probe doesn’t have built-in force, if specific applied force required, the test probe should work together with a force gauge. At the end of our probe handle, there is a M6 thread hole to match the force gauge. Showing as following reference picture:
