Standards & Clauses:

 

This bump testing equipment meets the requirements of IEC 60312-1 clause 6.7, figure 14 and 15.

It is used to assess the vacuum cleaner's ability to resist bump when passing through a threshold or hitting a doorpost. A total of 500 cycle tests are performed to evaluate the running life and bump resistance of the vacuum cleaner. At the same time, the durability of the vacuum cleaner's current-carrying hose was also tested. It is a high-performance quality inspection tool for vacuum cleaners.

 

Equipment Features:

 

The test threshold and doorpost are designed according to the standard drawing requirements. There is a threshold barrier at 1M distance to the vacumm cleaner on the running table, and the impact doorpost is set at 2M. The servo traction motor + wear-resistant elastic rubber belt drive system is adopted. The machine is equipped with a vacuum cleaner dust tube fixture. The clamp fixing mechanism and the running guide system are made of low-friction stainless steel, which is durable and smooth. The control system adopts the operation mode of Mitsubishi PLC+Taiwan WEINVIEW touch screen. The test equipment can control the power on and off of the vacuum cleaner, and the power on and off time is adjustable. The walking speed and the number of tests can be set. When the test is completed, it will automatically stop and give an alarm. Even if the power is cut off, the current test times will be retained, and the remaining tests will continue to be completed after the call.

A threshold made from polymide 6 or of wood of equivalent hardness, with cross-sectional dimensions according to Figure 14, positioned at rigt angles t the centre line of the test surface at a distance of 1m beyond the start position of the cleaner (see Figure 15).
