This sand & dust test system evaluates the sealing integrity of electrical & electronic goods, auto & motorcycle components, and rubber seals against particulate infiltration under dusty and sandy working conditions.
It verifies product reliability during usage, warehousing and shipment in dusty ambient settings, and assesses potential damage inflicted by airborne dust particles on electric devices.
The setup accurately replicates natural dusty outdoor surroundings or man-made turbulent dust flow generated by vehicle travelling and other disturbances.
The chamber adopts a tapered conical hopper fitted with a bottom dust collecting outlet. A high-pressure turbine circulation fan is mounted at the dust extraction opening to draw dust upwards to the top of the test inner cabinet. Dust then free-falls vertically downwards inside the chamber, enabling continuous closed-loop dust circulation for cyclic testing.
