This ozone aging tester complies with ISO 1431-1-2012 "Rubber, vulcanized rubber or thermoplastics - Resistance to ozone cracking - Part 1: Static and dynamic strain tests", as well as ISO 1431-1:2001, ISO 1431-2:1982, ISO 1431-1:2004, ISO 7326:2006, IDT, ISO 7326:1991 and ISO 1431-1-2012.

The ozone aging test is performed by placing the specimen in a closed, non-illuminated chamber with ozone-concentrated air, constant temperature and humidity for a predetermined period of time. The ozone aging resistance of the specimen is evaluated from the changes in properties such as cracks on the surface of the specimen. Ozone aging is divided into static tensile test and dynamic tensile test. In this test, ozone concentration, temperature and humidity, and specimen stretching are three very important parameters.
