Product information:

The Integrated Impulse Voltage Test Apparatus conforms to the standards of IEC 62368-1:2018 clause 5.4.2,5.5.8 and Annex D, circuit 1 and circuit 2 of Table D.1, Annex G.10, etc., IEC 60950-1:2013 clause 2.10.3.9, 5.2, reference 2 of table N.1, IEC 60950-1:2013 clause 6.2.2.1 and 7.4.3 reference 1 of table N.1, IEC60065:2014 clause 10.2, 13.3.4 a), and IEC 60065:2014 clause 13.3.4 b), 14.2, IEC60335-1 clause 14, and etc.

It is used to detect the transient over voltage of the components and the electrical clearance and the creepage distance of household appliance, audio, video and similar electronic apparatus.

The sample breakdown will produce a spark and acoustic, instrument peak voltage than the no-load voltage is decreased substantially (close to zero), when applying the same voltage in the next test, it will also show the above phenomenon.
