Product information:

 

This device can measure the torque of the plug inserted into the socket according to the standard of IEC 62368-1:2018 clause 4.7, IEC60065: 2014 clause 15.4.1 and figure 11, IEC 60884-1 2013 clause 14.23.2, IEC 60335-1 clause 22.3, IEC60065 clause 15.4.1 and figure 11 and etc.
The purpose is to prevent the device that is intended to be inserted into a fixed output socket and equipped with a pin to not subject the output socket to excessive stress.
Mainly detect fixed output sockets and devices equipped with pins

 

Test process:

 

Insert the device into a fixed socket conforming to this standard. The socket is rotated 8 mm behind the socket joint face by a horizontal axis through the axis of the live socket contact and parallel to the joint face.
The additional torque that must be applied to the socket to maintain the joint in the vertical plane shall not exceed 0.25 Nm.
