Many clients were confused how to correctly achieve the torque test for screwed glands, previously we adopts a special testing equipment to clamp the mandrel, but that is not correct, the torque should be applied to the screwed glands instead of the mandrel.
Here we recommend a simple method to achieve torque test for screwed glands, no special testing equipment needed for this test, operator only needs one vise and one torque wrench, each clamps one end of the screwed glands, shown as following figure.
