Do You Know The Classification of Anechoic Chambers?

The anechoic chamber includes Fully Anechoic and Semi-anechoic Chamber.

The fully anechoic chamber is used for the simulation of free space test environment and paved with absorber on the whole 6 walls inside the chamber shielding.

Fully Anechoic Chamber

The semi-anechoic chamber is used for the simulation of open field test environment,the ground is metallic reflector, while the rest 5 walls are paved with absorber. The semi-anechoic chamber can be upgraded to fully anechoic chamber.

Semi-anechoic Chamber

Compared to open field environment, the anechoic chamber isn’t limited by the weather or influenced by background
noise, and it is widely used in EMC tests as a testing field.
